Gaia Squarci is a photographer and videographer who divides her time between Milan and New York, where she teaches multimedia at the International Center of Photography. She’s a contributor to major publications such as The New York Times, the New Yorker, or The Guardian, and produces both photographs for the press and personal projects with always the same goal: tell a story that hasn’t been told. In this interview, she tells us her approach to documentary photography and its importance in our society.
