Leandro Frutos is the second prize winner of Meero’s photography contest, a competition entitled Meeropolis and launched among the company’s photographers community, with a focus on the participants’ hometown.
In his previous job, Argentinian photographer Leandro Frutos used to install television cables in private homes. A passport to enter people’s intimate spaces, the job brought him to different neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires.
His photographs reveal people’s habits and tastes, the objects they surround themselves with and the precarious conditions of some of the homes, where television is seen anyway as a fundamental need.
