For this 11th edition, a jury composed of members of the main foundations and photographic collections in Europe has announced its verdict on June 27, 2019. The French photographer Mathieu Pernot receives the prestigious distinction and will thus have the opportunity to achieve his project entitled Grand Tour over the next two years thanks to a grant of 35,000 euros.

Mathieu Pernot
Devoted to migration, confinement and urbanism issues, Mathieu Pernot is known since the mid-1990s for his work on the Gypsy families in Arles, which he documented for more than a decade. His new project promises to be an initiatory journey to the source of his personal history and History.
His project will be the subject of an exhibition and a book in the spring 2021.
