Ziggy Is Back

A book and an exhibition, “Moonage Daydream” remembers David Bowie on the 50th anniversary since the release of his album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.”

Initially published in 2002, the book “Moonage Daydream”, created by David Bowie and photographer Mick Rock, quickly sold out. 50 years after the birth of David Bowie’s alter ego Ziggy, Genesis Publications reprinted the legendary book, featuring a 15,000-word text by Bowie and more than 600 photographs that retrace Ziggy’s Early concerts, fellow stars and intimate moments.

“This is a book of extraordinary photographs. Ziggy Stardust blazed briefly but intensely, and I am delighted to see his life and time as a rock’n’roll star immortalised in this book”, said David Bowie.

The book “Moonage Daydream” is published by Genesis Publications and available at the price of £125 / 140$. The homonymous exhibition is on view at Atlas Gallery, London, until September 22.
